Ryan Bingham is one of the hottest tickets in Americana music. His fall tour, finishing at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium on Oct. 2 is anticipated to draw crowds from California to Maine. After that, he has plans to take a break and write new songs. Luckily for fans, that won’t be the last chance to see him perform live this year.
On Sept. 30, Amazon Prime customers can stream Ryan Bingham Live, Bingham’s concert recently filmed at Central Texas’ Whitewater Amphitheater. The film will be available in 4K Ultra HD, HD and SD formats. A vinyl press of the audio version will be released in time for the upcoming holiday season.
Amazon Prime Music will make the accompanying album available on Oct. 21. Watch Bingham perform his song “Radio,” a track off his 2015 release, Fear and Saturday Night.
In addition to “Radio,” Bingham is best known for his hit songs “Southside of Heaven” and “The Weary Kind.” Bingham co-wrote with T Bone Burnett for the movie Crazy Heart. He won an Oscar, Grammy, Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award. for the song. Also, the Americana Music Association recognized him as Artist of the Year in 2014.
