These Beautiful Prefab Cabins Cost Less than $30,000

As Americans shift away from mortgages and traditional housing, the number of prefabricated companies continues to grow. Many of these builders offer a basic structure without much style or inspiration. However, a company called DublDom might be changing that trend.

The prefab company operates out of Russia and focuses on building sturdy, weather-proof housing that looks like it's out of a Home and Garden magazine. And, in even better news, these ready-to-install homes are budget-friendly.

The cabins boast huge windows that let in plenty of natural light for an open, airy aesthetic.

And if that isn't enough, pine paneling adds to the open, spacious feeling of these efficient dwellings. DublDom even claims they build these models from sustainable resources. They design each unique structure to run as efficiently as possible.

The company builds their models so they are immediately ready to connect to the local electrical, water, and sewer systems. In theory, a customer could move into their new home the same week it is installed.

Customers choose how intricate and spacious they want their cabin to be, like many other prefab company policies, and prices range from around $23,000 to $100,000. In contrast, the median price for a home in the U.S. in 2010 was over $200,000.

So, if you're wondering how a Russian company can deliver your new home in the United States, don't worry. They are now taking pre-orders for Europe and the U.S. Although, to be fair, these cabins look particularly beautiful in the deep Russian winter.
