See Paul Cauthen Cut a Rug at the Broken Spoke in 'Saddle' Video

Rising country artist Paul Cauthen takes a late night cruise to Austin's legendary Broken Spoke in his stylish new video for "Saddle."

Directed by Chris Phelps, the video see Cauthen visiting a handful of Austin landmarks, including the G&S Lounge, the Classic Inn Motel by Hill's Cafe, and of course, the Spoke, where the video opens and closes. The six-minute video concludes with a slick choreographed dance sequence on the dance floor.

The Spoke is a country music institution and one of Texas' last authentic dance halls. Over the years, the venue has helped keep the flame of country music burning brightly in Texas. The venue oozes vintage country cool, so it's no wonder why Cauthen wanted to shoot the video there. Oh, and did you spot the cameo at the beginning? That was Austin's own Alejandro Rose-Garcia, a.k.a Shakey Graves.

"Saddle" is the new single from My Gospelone of the best country albums of 2016. Cauthen, who previously performed with the band Sons of Fathers, has found newfound success as a solo artist. You can currently catch him on his nationwide Giddy Up And Get Down Tour with Kelsey Waldon. Cauthen will also perform at Stagecoach in April 2018.
