Oreo lovers will now be able to enjoy one of the best desserts to come out of a State Fair.
Earlier this year, Oreo churros were introduced to the public at the State Fair Meadowlands. Like many of the indulgent desserts found at fairs across the country, this special treat was only available for a limited time. Now, this incredible mixture of two delicious desserts has been made available nationwide.
Oreo Churros were made available at supermarkets across the country today. Each box, which can be found in the freezer aisle, holds 20 10-inch sticks filled with their trademark cookie creme filling.
This isn’t the first time Oreo has tried their hand at this popular pastry. The beloved cookie company began selling three varieties of the sugary treat (Traditional, Double-Twisted, and Bite-Sized) at select amusement parks and movie theaters
“We were overwhelmed by the national buzz surrounding the original Oreo Churros, so immediately began working on a product line extension,” Gerry Shreiber, CEO & President of J & J Snack Foods, told Bustle.
Now, churro lovers will no longer have to make a special trip just to get a taste of this awesome creation. Instead, just head down the street to your local market and fill up your cart with as many boxes as you can.
