For $6.9M You Could be the New Owner of this Texas Hill Country Winery

A Texas winery is back on the market after a potential purchase of the property fell through.

Flat Creek Estate Winery in Marble Falls lies on 80 acres of gorgeous Texas Hill Country land outside Lake Travis. Sangiovese, Syrah, Montepulciano, Tempranillo, Pinot Grigio, and Pinot Blanc grapes are grown on over 20 acres of fertile soil.

The winery has been functioning for 16 years, and Flat Creek Estate Winery has produced several award-winning vintages.

With Tuscany-inspired decor, the winery features a private tasting room and a restaurant with a commercial kitchen. There's a beautiful outdoor pavilion for hosting events (like weddings) or live music. There's also a clubhouse and a helipad.

The property features an apartment with one private bedroom and a sleeping loft up a beautiful spiral staircase. There's also a workout room with a mirror wall. If that's not your style though, there's plenty of room to build a larger main residence on site.

According to the Houston Chronicle, the property dropped in price from $10 million to $6.9 million. The original owners are ready to retire from the wine-making business.
