There are many of us out there who have become obsessed with Deacon, Rayna, Gunner and Scarlett from the cast of ABC’s Nashville.
The combination of constant drama, great music and a cast of insanely attractive people has allowed the show to go into its fourth season this fall. When Andrea Richeson of New York decided to binge-watch the show and see what all the fuss was about, it marked the beginning of a different kind of obsession.
According to The Tennessean, Richeson began watching the show and learning how to use LEGO Digital Designer during the harsh winter months in New York. Her two interests collided as she began to design a Lego version of the Bluebird Cafe.
“I found myself wanting to build the set and the characters out of real LEGO bricks,” Richeson told the publication.
She eventually began to build the Bluebird out of Lego parts she bought online and altered to match her vision. On Aug. 14, she posted a picture of her finished product on Instagram and received a lot of attention. Nashville stars Charles Esten and Will Chase even changed their Twitter avatars to photos of their Lego twins.
Those Lego versions of the characters, along with the full Bluebird Café replica, will go up for auction in October and all proceeds raised will go toward the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. You can see more photos of Richeson’s work on Instagram.
