A win for classic country music this year, as Glen Campbell and Willie Nelson were among the first CMA Awards winners. The late country icon and Nelson won Musical Event of the Year for “Funny How Time Slips Away.”

Their version of Nelson’s country classic appears on Campbell’s posthumous album, Adios. Released in June, the album features a handful of excellent classic covers, including Harry Nilsson’s “Everybody’s Talkin’,” Roger Miller’s “Am I All Alone (Or Is It Only Me)” and Bob Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right.” If you’re a classic country fan and haven’t heard the record yet, give it a listen.

Here’s the version of “Funny How Time Slips Away” that won this year’s CMA honor.
