Miranda Lambert opened her signature Pink Pistol store in Tishomingo, Okla. four years ago, but during the divorce with ex-husband Blake Shelton, she had to close shop. Now, she has reopened The Pink Pistol in the East Texas town she grew up, Lindale. Just like with her former location, Lambert hopes the shop will revitalize the area.
Lambert announced the grand opening of The Pink Pistol in Texas on her Instagram and Facebook on Aug. 6.
At the store, you’ll also be able to purchase Lambert’s Red 55 wine. The wines are aptly named things like “White Liar,” “Kerosene” and “Crazy Ex Girlfriend.”
The Pink Pistol, saturated in the color pink, also sells Miranda Lambert gear, apparel and cowboy boots.
Lambert initially opened the store in Oklahama with the goal of revitalizing the local economy. She was successful, as several businesses and shops opened after the addition of The Pink Pistol. During her divorce with Shelton, she ultimately closed the shop and sold the building to him. He now plans to open up something of his own in its place.
Lambert’s hopes are the same with the new Texas location. “Just opening a store was never Miranda’s dream,” Lambert’s mother, Bev Lambert, told the Tyler Morning Telegraph. “Her whole point all along was to revitalize something. That’s what we’re working toward.”
