Miranda Lambert has shut down her stylish Ladysmith Bed & Breakfast in Tishomingo, Okla. and may have handed the keys over to ex-husband Blake Shelton.
Visitors to the Ladysmith’s official website will simply see a message that says the business is closed and “under new management.” This news comes just a few weeks after the ACM Female Vocalist of the Year revealed that she sold her Pink Pistol boutique store in Tishomingo to Shelton.
Tishomingo is where Lambert and Shelton took up residence while the two were united in holy matrimony, but since their very surprising and public split last year, Lambert has been cutting ties with her former town.
Conspiracy theorists who wonder whether Shelton has anything to do with the shift in management may rely on a certain Facebook post from Sat. July 2 that shows Shelton with girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, standing on the former Bed & Breakfast’s balcony.
Lambert eloquently pointed out upon the announcement of her first business sale in Tishomingo that “sometimes you need to close a chapter to build on a new beginning or go back home.” Perhaps this sale is just the next in a series of cleansing moments for a newly independent and always fierce Miranda Lambert.
