Miranda Lambert is inching closer to the release of her highly-anticipated sixth studio album. Now, just over a month before its release, Lambert has revealed the album art for the record.
In the black and white photo, Lambert stands in a sparkly gown while holding a guitar case. It seems to capture a moment in time, which will likely match the theme of the album. Fans have been patiently waiting to hear her latest project, which promises to give a revealing look into her mindset after an eventful year. Aside from her surprise divorce from Blake Shelton, Lambert has focused on songwriting and spending time with her boyfriend and fellow musician Anderson East.
The Weight of These Wings will hit stores on Nov. 18, just in time for the holidays. The release was produced by Frank Liddell, Glenn Worf and Eric Masse and promises to be one of her most personal and reflective projects yet. The album will also feature Lambert’s current single, “Vice,” which is rapidly climbing the charts.
The country star just announced that her Pink Pistol Boutique will celebrate its grand re-opening on Oct. 22 in her hometown of Lindale, Texas. You can find more information about the event here.
