Jason Aldean and wife Brittany welcomed baby Memphis to the world on Dec. 1 at 1:29 p.m. The proud parents shared a photo of their new son on Twitter and Instagram.
"So blessed today to see my little man come into the world," Aldean says in an Instagram post. "In a year that has been a rollercoaster ride, this is what its all about. I cant wait to see what life has in store for this kid." He announced Memphis came in at a healthy nine pounds and five ounces. He also added a cute "mama was a rock star" hash tag.
In her own Instagram post, Brittany Aldean also shared a beautiful sentiment. "There are truly no words for the love we feel," she says. "Thanks for the amazing support Jason and enduring all the hand squeezing and nail digging. Hands down the happiest day of my life!!!"
Jason Aldean revealed he and Brittany were pregnant back on May 8. Brittany called the path to pregnancy the "biggest roller coaster" of the pair's life. "All of the moments of heartache were followed by the biggest blessing in the entire world!" she said.
Her Instagram account from then on consisted of all sorts of pictures of the two celebrating the pending arrival of baby Memphis. She shared pictures of the gender reveal, new baby room and room.
The pair encountered another scare in October during the Las Vegas shooting. Jason Aldean was playing on stage at the Route 91 Harvest Festival the moment a gunman opened fire on the crowd. Brittany and Jason spent minutes laying behind equipment hiding from a barrage of gunfire while others fled. She posted on Instagram that her thought at the time was, "I never even got to hold my baby."

But much happier times are ahead for the Aldeans and baby Memphis. They married back in 2014 and Memphis is their first child as a couple. Aldean also has two daughters from a previous marriage.
