Wet’n’Wild SplashTown is now open in the greater Houston area. Less than a 30-minute drive from downtown Houston and located in Spring, Texas, the 80-acre water park is ready to bring in even more people looking to beat the Texas heat than ever before.
The park reopened on May 7 and boasts updates and three new water attractions. The first addition is Wet’n’Wild Jr., an interactive part of the park geared toward children with its own smaller-scale slides and rides.
Wet’n’Wild SplashTown also added the Big Kahuna — a five person raft that shoots you down a water slide and through dark tunnels.
The third new attraction is the FlowRider, which is a surf experience ride. It has constant 30-mph waves so you can try your hand a flowboarding.
It’s also added more restaurants and a second bar. Oh, and if you want cool place to relax all day, you can rent a luxury cabana for your family.
Wet’n’Wild will also be having “Dive-in Movies,” concerts and festivals all summer long.
Single day passes range from $30.00 to $39.99, but season passes and group tickets deals are available as well. Wet‘n’Wild SplashTown is now open for the season and closes at 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 11.
