Look out, John Deere. This jaw-dropping piece of modern farm equipment has been attracting huge crowds for years, thanks to its impressive size and power.
In the video above, you’ll see footage of the super-tractor nicknamed Big Bud. This incredible piece of machinery can produce up to 760 horsepower using a 16-cylinder Detroit Diesel engine, and sports 12 massive tires. Nicknamed the 525/50, Big Bud was originally built in 1977 for a set of farmers in California who used the tractor’s incredible power for deep ripping in their fields.
Over the years Big Bud has changed hands and served many purposes. These days, the Montana-based Williams Brothers use the tractor to cultivate large fields. The brothers also regularly bring their eye-catching tractor across the country to local plow days, like this one in Alvordton, OH.
Even through Big Bud has been around for many years, huge crowds still gather in these small towns to see the incredible machine in action. Take a look at the video above to see this amazing tractor pull a 21-bottom plow with ease.
