The Marshall Tucker Band are hitting the road once again.

The band recently announced that they’ll be heading across the U.S. for the 2016 Long Hard Ride Tour this month to celebrate 40 years since the release of the album, Long Hard Ride, and their 45th year of touring.

“We’ve been doing this for 45 years, and every year, I get more excited about getting back out there to start a new tour,” band member Doug Gray revealed in a statement, adding that the band “wouldn’t still be here if not for all the fans, young and old, who keep coming to see us every night.”

“I look back at it all now and just think, ‘Wow,’” Gray added.

The band have already played several shows around North America since the Long Hard Ride Tour began in mid-Feb., with several more stops scheduled until the tour eventually wraps in Florida as part of the “Rock Legends Cruise” in Jan. 2017.
