Team Blake Sings Maren Morris’ ‘I Could Use a Love Song’ on ‘The Voice’

Dallas Caroline and Spensha Baker, two contestants on Team Blake, battled it out on a recent episode of “The Voice.” Blake chose a beautiful Maren Morris track, “I Could Use A Love Song,” for the duo to sing as they vied for a secure spot on his team.

Even though Caroline and Baker were “battling,” the Maren Morris song created more of a comradery between the two women, like they were singing with a common understanding of what the song is about.

The performance sounded particularly lovely when the two sang together. The judges, including Blake, were impressed by both of the contestants. Watch the video above to see which singer Blake ends up choosing. And stick around to the end of the clip to see the surprise happy ending.

I Could Use A Love Song” was co-written by Morris, Jimmy Robbins and Laura Veltz. The track appeared on Morris’ 2017 record Hero and was released as a successful third single.
