The classic 1950’s sitcom I Love Lucy is coming back to CBS with a brand new look.
One of television’s most beloved series is coming back to prime time with a whole new look.
According to a statement from CBS, the I Love Lucy Superstar Special will feature two episodes of the classic television show that have been colorized. The new modern colorization will keep a “vintage look” to the episodes that stays true to the popular series’ style that fans know and love.
The first episode of the colorized set, entitled “L.A. at Last,” hasn’t been seen on television for 60 years. The second episode, “Lucy and Superman,” features an appearance by George Reeves from the Adventures of Superman, and brought in a huge number of viewers at the time of its original airing.
The I Love Lucy Superstar Special will air on CBS on Sunday, May 17 at 8 p.m.
