Loretta Lynn Hospitalized After Suffering Stroke

Country legend Loretta Lynn has been hospitalized after suffering a stroke.

According to a statement shared on her website, Lynn was transported to a Nashville hospital last night (May 4) from her home in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. She is said to still be under medical care, but is "responsive and expected to make a full recovery."

The stroke has forced Lynn to postpone her upcoming tour dates. It's unclear if this affects all scheduled dates, including her upcoming concerts at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.

Lynn just celebrated her 85th birthday on April 14. She is also scheduled to release a brand new studio album, Wouldn't It Be Great, on Aug. 18.
