With 60 No. 1 hits and over 68 million albums sold, George Strait is one of the most beloved singers in country music. But it’s safe to say that no one is a bigger fan than this adorable four-year-old boy singing a medley of the King of Broken Hearts’ biggest hits.
The video begins with the tiny country crooner at age three singing King George’s “Troubadour.” Then, we see clips of him singing Strait classics such as “Baby’s Gotten Good at Goodbye,” “I Can Still Make Cheyenne,” and “Check Yes Or No” over the course of a year.
The boy is already moving up in the music world. In another video, the young troubadour (now at the much wiser and seasoned age of four) is singing on stage for an audience of adoring fans. Thankfully, show business hasn’t jaded him just yet.
While Strait is no longer touring, he has extended his Las Vegas residency for two dates in 2017. If he’s looking for an opening act, we know of a lifelong fan who would fit the bill — just as long as it’s before his bedtime.
