Little Big Town has been all about the cover songs while on tour this summer. They recently performed a beautiful cover of Oasis’ “Wonderwall” on ABC’s summer music series Greatest Hits.
During the show’s most recent episode, the quartet chose to take on Keys’ 2001 hit song, “Fallin’.” The track hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts and won three Grammy’s the year it was released.
Karen Fairchild revealed the challenges of their song choice in a promo video for the Greatest Hits episode. “This song is vocal gymnastics,” she exclaimed. “Why we bit this one off, I have no idea!”
Little Big Town is currently touring with Luke Bryan for his Kill The Lights Tour. Bryan and Little Big Town are known for performing covers during their shows. Check out the group’s funky rendition of “Let’s Get It On” for a taste of their fun covers.
The country group has also been busy promoting their newest album. The pop-leaning record, entitled Wanderlust, was produced by Pharrell and came out on June 10. Although the project was their most experimental to date, the band has promised that a new country-oriented project is already in the works.
