Stream Every Track on Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard’s ‘Django and Jimmie’

Hear Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard’s new album, Django and Jimmie, days before its official release.

Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard‘s new album, Django and Jimmie, has been one of the most talked-about releases so far in 2015.

Fans and critics have been anticipating their new collaboration since they announced it during this year’s South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas. The duo have released teasers of many of the songs, but now you can hear the entirety of Django and Jimmie before its official release on June 2.

82-year-old Nelson and 78-year-old Haggard weave humor, sadness and nostalgia throughout every single track on the album. Their tongue-in-cheek track “It’s All Gone To Pot” is a new sort of stoner’s anthem, while “Missing Ol’ Johnny Cash” is a sweet but upbeat story-song that pays tribute to their dearly-departed country counterpart. The heartfelt ballad, “Unfair Weather Friend,” is one of the stand-out gems on an incredibly solid list of tracks that is a testament to the incredible bond that has formed between the two artists over the decades.
