Bradley Gilbert announced his plans to organize a concert to raise money for fallen soldiers and their families after four Marines were shot and killed in Chattanooga earlier this summer. Later this week, his dreams will become reality when Gilbert and some of country’s biggest stars will unite on stage for Chattanooga Unite: A Tribute On The River.
The concert will feature a closing performance by Gilbert, along with appearances by Trace Adkins, Colt Ford, Jamey Johnson, Aaron Lewis and Harry Connick, Jr. Chattanooga native and acclaimed actor Samuel L. Jackson will also host a special memorial ceremony during the day-long event.
Instead of ticket fees, concertgoers are encouraged to donate to collection bins located on-site, which will benefit The National Compassion Fund. The fund help to support the recovery of victims in mass casualty shootings and their families, including the Chattanooga shooting victims.
