Beloved singer-songwriter Kris Kristofferson may be 79 years old, but he’s not slowing down anytime soon. He’s just announced plans to release a brand new double album that encompasses some of the most notable tracks from his career.

The Cedar Creek Sessions, set for release on June 17, features 25 tracks recorded in Austin, Texas in the summer of 2014. The two-disc set, which was produced by Tamara Saviano and Shawn Camp, features new renditions of some of Kristofferson’s biggest hits, including “Sunday Mornin’ Coming Down,” “Help Me Make It Through the Night,” and “Me and Bobby McGee.”

The release will hit stores just days before the artist’s 80th birthday, and comes just weeks after a star-studded musical tribute to Kristofferson was held in Nashville.
