'Tennessee Whiskey' Dad Kris Jones Returns With Another Great Country Cover

Last year, the internet couldn't stop talking about Kris Jones, the dad caught on video singing a stellar version of "Tennessee Whiskey." Now, he's back with another impressive rendition of a country hit.

This time around, he's trading in the car for a music room and the iPhone for a more professional setup. In the acoustic performance, he takes on Brett Young's hit single, "In Case You Didn't Know." With smooth and smoky vocals, Jones puts his own gritty but sophisticated spin on the breakout hit of 2017. You can see his entire cover in the video above.

Jones first became a viral sensation when his daughter, Dayla, recorded him singing along to "Tennessee Whiskey" while in the car. His talent earned him millions of views on YouTube and appearances on major daytime television shows in a matter of weeks.

The Texas native is working on his own solo music career by sharing country covers and releasing his own original song, "Big Black Truck." You can find out more about his new music via Kris Jones' official Facebook page.
