Kix Brooks Will Search for America’s Best Steakhouse in New TV Show

For his new television show, country musician Kix Brooks is hitting the road in search of America’s best steakhouse.

Steak Out with Kix Brooks will premiere July 14 at 9 PM EST on the Cooking Channel. In each hour-long episode, Brooks will travel from New Orleans to New York City in search of the most unique and appetizing eateries. Brooks was excited for the opportunity to revisit some of his favorite steakhouses that he discovered while on the road over the past 25 years.

“Having spent so much time on the road, I have had the opportunity to eat at some of the best steakhouses in almost every city,” Brooks said in a statement. “I loved getting to travel back to places for ‘Steak Out’ that I remember loving and try some new spots. We had a blast sharing why I gave them all a big ole stamp of approval!”

Brooks will put down his silverware and hit the stage once again alongside Ronnie Dunn and Reba McEntire for a set of dates in Las Vegas beginning December. Reba, Brooks & Dunn: Together in Vegas will run Dec. 1-12 at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Tickets are available for the performances at Brooks’ official website.
