Kip Moore is teaming up with the Wounded Warrior Project to help raise awareness for unemployed veterans.
CASE Construction Equipment will host the Labor of Love Music Festival at Racine Festival Park in Racine, Wis. on Sept. 7. The festival hopes to shine a light on the importance of hiring unemployed veterans into skilled jobs in the manufacturing and construction industries.
Funds raised from the event will go toward the Wounded Warrior Project, which specializes in programs and events helping veterans with the physical and emotional issues of life after combat.
“Labor Day is the perfect time to honor pride and dignity in work, and there may be no group that represents that more than the men and women of the armed services,” Moore said, according to Taste of Country. “It’s my honor to pay tribute to these people, and all the hard-working people that come out to my shows, and to give back to a community that has been very supportive of me.”
The event will kick off with a special ceremony to honor veterans and their service at 3 PM. Moore will take the stage for a special concert performance at 6 PM. For a full schedule of events and to purchase tickets, visit CASE Construction.
