The brand new 5-story, 152-room hotel is located directly next to Legoland Florida Resort in Orlando.
The building is covered in over 2 million Lego bricks and features a giant-yet-friendly fire-breathing dragon perched atop the building’s clock tower.
“The outside of the hotel is designed to look like a kid built it with Lego bricks,” Kevin Carr, general manager of Legoland Hotel, told USA Today.
Once you enter the hotel, you walk past a wall adorned with 5,000 Lego “Minifigures” that guide you to the check-in area. Visitors can choose from either adventure, kingdom, pirate or Lego Friends themed-rooms that feature fun furniture and surprises for the hotel’s youngest visitors. Even the elevators are decked out with a disco theme, complete with bright lights and fun music.
The lobby holds a castle play area, complete with a pirate ship, and an entrance to the Bricks Family Restaurant that features a kid-sized buffet line. Adults can escape to the Sky Line Lounge for more sophisticated dishes and a more relaxed atmosphere.
For those die-hard Lego fans, the Master Model Builder Workshop is the must-see attraction in the Legoland Hotel. The shop holds some of the best Lego-building experts, who teach kids and adults how to make complicated and impressive model creations.
Overall, the hotel is the perfect family-friendly getaway, especially for those who love building their own Lego creations.
If you want to book a room in the new Legoland Hotel, rates start at $219 per night and include perks like free breakfast and early access to the Legoland theme park. You can learn more about the hotel at their website.
