1. Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill
Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grillis truly Texas-sized. The venue is multi-leveled, with a bar, restaurant, massive stage and dance floor. It’s so spacious you’ll feel like you’re out on the ranch. You can even check out the venue’s website ahead of time to watch step-by-step lesson videos. Heck, you could even learn in your living room without ever going to the Ranch; but what’s the fun in that? With a Moretti’s Restaurant & Pizzeria attached to the bar and dance floor, Cadillac Ranch has everything from great eats to great beats.

3. The Loaded Buffalo
The Loaded Buffalohelps you learn the latest country moves with free dance lessons on Wednesdays at 9:15 and 10:15 PM. On Friday nights, the joint is hoppin’ with country music DJ Pistol Pete until 3 in the morning. Saturday nights rock with live music.

4. Saddle Up Saloon & Dancehall
Saddle Up Saloon & Dancehalloffers dance options for everyone, from fresh-off-the-farm newbies to those who have been kickin’ up their heels for decades. Saddle Up even offers all-day workshop events for beginner to intermediate and couples’ line dance lessons. Open Wednesday through Sunday, the country music plays until the ten o’clock hour, then switches over to Roadhouse Music (Top 40 and some Country) until closing time. In case you work up an appetite dancing, the dancehall does offer bar food. Every item on the menu is just $3.

5. DC’s Country Junction
DC’s Country Junctionis “Northwest Indiana’s home for real country music.” On Saturday nights, come on out for some live music and lively dancing. Not sure how to step? The evening starts with line dance lessons from 7-8 PM. Live music starts at 8 PM and doesn’t stop until 1 in the morning. Yee haw!

6. Sundance Event Center
Sundance Event Center features much more than just country tunes. It offers many genres of concerts each month. Performers include tribute artists, local bands and more. To know when to wear your boots, keep a watch on the center’s calendar and see who’s playing next. Sundance also offers a hall you can rent for your private parties, and a nightclub with live DJs spinning dance music every Friday and Saturday.

7. Skooter’s Roadhouse
There’s always something going on atSkooter’s Roadhouse.Come by on Tuesdays for line dance lessons. Compete in Skooter’s Country Idol on Wednesdays. Live music for listenin’ or dancin’ is featured on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Skooter’s also offers two entertainment venues and an amazing outdoor patio that concerts spill onto in the summer. Plus, they claim to serve the area’s best BBQ.

Charleston’s Bar & Grillis known for its fantastic live music and amazing food. The venue offers a casual atmosphere to kick back and enjoy country tunes. Come for the music and enjoy live entertainment weekly. Or come for the game and watch it on the venue’s 15 plasma TVs or, even better, the 150-inch screen. Thirsty? Mosey up to the 30-foot bar for a drink. Charleston’s has private rooms if you want to party with up to 100 guests.
