Kenny Rogers Announces First Dates of Final World Tour

Facebook/Kenny Rogers

Back in September, Kenny Rogers revealed his plans to retire from country music. Before he hangs up his hat, he plans on hitting the road one last time for an expansive world tour.

He’ll kick off the first leg of his travels in Mahnomen, Minn. on May 13 and will travel across the globe through mid-November. Longtime friend and collaborator Linda Davis will accompany him on most tour dates, while Charlie Worsham has been tapped as Rogers’ special guest for his European dates.

“I’m excited about making one more sweep around the world,” Rogers says in a press release. “For more than five decades, I’ve been fortunate enough to have such wonderful, loyal audiences, and their support has meant so much. This final tour is going to be a celebration of all of my music, and I know each night will be truly special.”
