Although it has only been a few weeks since Kenny Chesney closed out his Big Revival Tour, the country star is already planning his next moves.
Chesney is joining forces with Miranda Lambert for another massive stadium tour in the summer of 2016.
“Miranda is the real deal,” Chesney said in a press release. “She’s a songwriter, first, and a real vocalist. She puts it all out there when she’s on stage, and I loved touring with her so much in 2009, I can’t believe it’s taken us this long to get her back out here — because I love every single thing about who she is as an artist and a person.”
Along with two of the biggest names in country music, Sam Hunt and Old Dominion will also join the party as opening acts for the tour. Hunt has been breaking records and bending genres since the release of his 2014 hit album, Montevallo.
Old Dominion have been enjoying a lot of success this year with their single “Break Up With Him” and just announced plans to release their first full-length album on Sony/RCA later this year. It’s an incredibly solid bill that will likely have fans clamoring for tickets as soon as they’re released.
Dates, venues and ticket information for Kenny Chesney and Miranda Lambert’s tour will be released in the coming weeks.
