Hear Keith Urban's Intimate Acoustic Tribute to Musicians We Lost in 2016

Keith Urban moved us with his New Year's Eve tribute honoring artists lost in 2016. Now, the "Blue Ain't Your Color" singer has shared a breathtaking acoustic version of the mash-up.

Filmed inside Urban's home, the Aussie covers everyone from singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen to pop icon Prince. Urban opens up with George Michael's "I'm Never Gonna Dance Again," before heading into a stunning rendition of "Hallelujah."

Urban also tips his hat to Glenn Frey of the Eagles, Merle Haggard and David Bowie in the medley. Finally, the country star wraps things up with a powerful cover of Prince's classic track "Purple Rain." Urban really presents his talent in a new light with the impassioned tribute.

After he performed the tribute medley live in Nashville on New Year's Eve, the recorded performance earned over a million views. During the set, his wife Nicole Kidman came on stage to dance along with his version of David Bowie's "Heroes."

Unlike other New Year's performances that have since gone viral for the wrong reasons, Urban's medley came straight from the heart. It's the perfect heartfelt musical send-off to those we lost in 2016.
