This week on The Voice, coaches and contestants are getting ready for the ever-challenging battle rounds. On Monday's (Oct. 16) episode, Blake Shelton watched as two of his team members sang for a spot in next week's duet rounds.

Keisha Renee and Noah Mac tackled Hank Williams' classic tune "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" for their battle. Instead of the twangy original, the pair opted to cover Elvis Presley's popular version, which allowed them both to challenge their voices a bit more. Keisha Renee's smooth vocals made the performance feel effortless, but Noah Mac's throwback sound also appealed to the judges.

When all was said and done, Renee easily earned her stay on Team Blake. Luckily for Mac, fellow coach Jennifer Hudson was ready for the first steal of the season. Still, Team Blake once again seems like the team to beat this year.

Tonight and next week, fellow Team Blake hopefuls Natalie StovallRyan Scripps and Red Marlow will take the stage. There's no clear frontrunner for the Season 13 champion yet, but it's still early. No matter who is crowed the winner, it's safe to say that country music will be well represented by many contestants again this season.
