John Prine and Jason Isbell are joining forces for a New Year’s Eve concert to remember. The musicians will take the stage at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House for a one-night-only performance. The announcement comes just a few weeks after Prine presented Isbell with the Album of the Year award for 2015’s Something More Than Free. That same week, Prine performed his beloved self-titled debut album to a sold-out crowd at Nashville’s historic venue the Station Inn.
The dream team of Prine and Isbell have also recruited Kacey Musgraves for the performance. The sparkly Texan is prepping for the release of A Very Kacey Christmas on Oct. 28. She also makes an appearance on Prine’s brand new duets album, For Better or Worse.
If you’re thinking about spending your New Year’s Eve in Nashville, you’ll want to plan ahead. Tickets for this star-studded concert range in price from $75-250. You can snag yours beginning at 10 a.m. on Oct 21 via ryman.com. Set an alarm, because this show will sell out fast.
