Jason Isbell Announces Summer Tour Dates

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit continue touring on Grammy-winning 2017 album The Nashville Sound with a string of new tour dates that'll keep them on the road until the early fall.

The tour begins in July, with the month dominated by festival appearances. Among those dates is a stop in Newport, RI for the historic Newport Folk Festival.

In between those festival dates and throughout a run beginning in late August, Isbell teams with a revolving cast of opening acts. Isbell's wife and band mate Amanda Shires and the couple's fellow John Prine collaborator Brandi Carlile each claim a few opening slots, as does Aimee Mann, Hiss Golden Messenger, John Moreland, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Marie Lapanto and Communist Daughter.  The tour is currently scheduled to end on Sept. 28 in North Carolina.
