Jason Aldean fans will be pleasantly surprised to hear he’s already hard at work on a new album.
On July 14, the artist posted a photo of himself in the studio on his Instagram account, with the caption: “back in the studio for album #7…… Cant wait for u guys to hear what me and the boys are up to!!! #newmusic.” Aldean didn’t give any extra details as to what fans can expect from his new album; but it’s likely at least one track will be inspired by his new bride.
The singer’s new project comes just three months after he married girlfriend Brittany Kerr in Cancun, Mexico, during a short break in his busy tour schedule. Aldean’s last album, Old Boots, New Dirt, was released in 2014 and supplied two number-one singles with “Burnin’ It Down” and “Just Gettin’ Started”. His current single, “Tonight Looks Good on You”, reached number two on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and is still in heavy rotation on country radio. No release date for Aldean’s seventh album has been announced.
When he isn’t in the studio, Aldean will continue his Burn It Down Tour with Cole Swindell and Tyler Farr through October and will co-headline select dates with Kenny Chesney on his Big Revival Tour. For a full list of tour dates, visit Aldean’s official website.
