Country artist James Otto has released a brand new EP, Somewhere Tonight.
The three-song EP is his first release since his 2010 full-length album, Shake What God Gave Ya. “It feels great to be putting new music out there,” Otto said in a statement. “I’ve been really focused on my writing for the last couple of years. Some great friends have cut a bunch of those songs but it’s really exciting to put out a few of them myself.”
The EP features his current single, “Somewhere Tonight,” which was written by Otto, Corey Crowder, JT Hodges, Patrick Davis and James Slater. The track has been rapidly gaining airplay on satellite radio ahead of its widespread country radio release. The title track has the same energetic and infectious vibe as his massive 2007 hit, “Just Got Started Lovin’ You.” Otto also supplies a recorded version of the Bob Seger classic “Night Moves,” which has become a fan favorite from his live performances.
Somewhere Tonight is available now through iTunes, Amazon and other online music retailers. Otto will spend the fall on tour through Canada while he finishes writing and recording a currently untitled new album, set to be released in early 2016.
