Ah yes, "Strawberry Wine." Everybody's favorite kinda awkward tune about losing your virginity.  But hey, it's a gorgeous melody and a classic. And Jackie Verna delivered a great performance of it recently on The Voice.

A member of Adam Levine's team, Verna recently performed the 1995 Deana Carter classic on the live Top 11 episode. She delivers the song with a smooth, classic country wail, which might be peculiar, given the 23-year-old hails from New Jersey. But hey, even if you're doing an impression when you sing, she did a great one.

Jackie Verna made it through the the Top 11 live performance stage after Levine personally chose her. There will be a few more weeks of live performances, with each week whittling down contestants.

Verna represents the rare traditional country singer who didn't end up with Blake Shelton. She's also been fortunate to largely stay within her wheelhouse in her performances. Other songs Verna sang include Taylor Swift's "Tim McGraw" and Lady Antebellum's "American Honey."

The Top 11 results show airs tonight on NBC. After that, the Top 10 performances take place on May 7.
