Thanksgiving marks the unofficial beginning of pie-making season. One incredibly talented baker used her creative mind to build the most epic pie-baking station ever created.
Tucked inside Ruthann Winans’ incredible farmhouse is a kitchen that most people only get to see on their Pinterest boards. When Winans was in the process of designing her dream home ten years ago, she decided to incorporate her love of baking in a big way.
She designed an incredible pantry area that houses all of her pans and dishes, along with ingredients and everything else you need to put together the perfect pie. The California native told Country Living that she was inspired by the look of the old-school Main Street area at Disneyland.
“My favorite thing was to walk down Main Street and gaze at the darling turn-of-the-century houses and shops,” Winans said. “I would imagine what the homes inside would look like. Cozy, homey, old fashioned and welcoming with yummy pies baking in the oven.”
“I’d like to think Walt Disney would have approved,” Winans said. I think most everyone can approve of this lady’s incredible style. Now, if only she would invite me over to sample some of her delicious culinary creations.
