Cody Jinks Makes Impressive TV Debut on 'Conan' with 'I'm Not the Devil'

Thursday night (Jan. 26) was a big one for Cody Jinks. The country up-and-comer sang "I'm Not the Devil" during his national TV debut on Conan.

Jinks' baritone voice and outlaw sound earned him a spot on the popular late night talk show. Although it was his first time on national television, you wouldn't know it from his performance.

The Texas native stayed true to himself. Instead of dressing up for the occasion, he donned light washed jeans and a simple t-shirt. He strummed his guitar in time with his band before letting his signature sound take hold. Despite the importance of the performance, his voice didn't waiver at all.

"I'm Not the Devil" is the title track from Jinks' stellar 2016 record. Watch the performance above and you'll see just why we've had Jinks on our radar as a Rising Country Artist to Watch.

If you like what you hear from his live performance, you can check out Jinks and his band on the road. They have a full tour schedule set for January and most of February. Many of their tour dates are already sold out but there are a few still available if you act fast.

If that's not enough to tide you over until you see Jinks on the road, check out his country version of Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here." You won't be disappointed.
