During September’s Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam in Panama City Beach, Fla., Hunter Hayes decided to have a little fun while making some country fans’ dreams come true.
In this video posted to his Facebook account, Hayes is shown coming up with a clever scheme to prank some unsuspecting fans alongside local police officer Tommy Anderson. The officer simulates a traffic stop and pulls over the shuttle bus, which gives Hayes time to swoop in.
After a few tense moments, Hayes makes his way onto the bus and grabs the intercom speaker and surprises fans with the news that they’ve been upgraded to VIP passes for the festival.
“Don’t worry, you’re not getting arrested,” he says with a huge grin. The bus erupts in cheers and applause at the news from fans who are overwhelmed with excitement over their surprise visitor.
