Luke Bryan has released a sexy new track from his upcoming album, Kill the Lights.
The reminiscing track, “Strip It Down”, is all about lusting for a long lost love and desperately wanting to get those intimate moments back.
“Strip it down, strip it down, back to you and me, like it used to be,” Bryan pleads, “when there was an old back road with an old school beat, cowboy boots by your little bare feet.” Thanks to the piano and percussion-oriented accompaniment, the track has a more alternative feel.
Fans who pre-order Kill the Lights on iTunes can enjoy an instant download of “Strip It Down” before its August release. On the day the album drops, Bryan will perform a special concert for Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series in Central Park in New York City.
Otherwise, fans can see the country star out on his Kick the Dust Up Tour, which will be stopping in cities across America through October. Diehard fans can also get a special glimpse into Bryan’s journey to stardom in a new exhibit entitled “Luke Bryan: Dirt Road Diary”, at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tenn. through November.
