Hear Hunter Hayes’ Party-Ready New Single, ’21’

Hunter Hayes is ready to party it up with his new single, “21.”

Hunter Hayes supplies fans with a pop-influenced, upbeat new sound with his single, “21.”

The song is a fun and carefree ode to embracing the moment and having as much fun as possible, no matter what age you are. The now 23-year-old singer proclaims, “life ain’t long enough, so let’s celebrate,” behind a driving beat that makes it an easy contender for another crossover into the pop charts.

“It’s about the spirit of a feeling, of freedom,” Hayes told Bobby Bones about his new single. ”It’s all about that feeling of excitement and anticipation of whatever’s next, and just happiness. It’s a celebration, it’s a celebration of life, and it’s really fun to sing live, too!”
Although lyrically the song isn’t as deep or meaningful as some of his previous releases, it doesn’t need to be. Overall, it’s a fun and well-executed romp that will be a great addition to your summer party playlist.

“21” was co-written by Hayes, Dallas Davidson, Kelley Lovelace and Ashley Gorley. The single will be featured on his third currently untitled album that will likely be released later this year.

Until his new album drops, you can find Hayes out on the road across England and the United States throughout the summer.
