Hear Chris Young’s New Single, ‘I’m Comin’ Over’

Chris Young returns to country airwaves with a brand new single.

Chris Young has a released a new single, “I’m Comin’ Over,” from his upcoming fifth album.

The ballad, co-written by Young, Corey Crowder and Josh Hoge, features soaring vocals backed by pedal steel and electric guitar. The song is filled with lyrics like “Try not to think about you but it ain’t working, why put out a fire when it’s still burning” that create a simplistic yet powerful statement about unreliable love that many can relate to.

The sound overall is one that fans have come to expect from Young and has catapulted his music to the top of the charts. Although it has a similar production value and overall sound to a few other country releases in recent months, the overall quality of the song combined with the buzz of his return should keep “I’m Comin’ Over” in steady rotation.

There’s currently no official release date for his upcoming album, but you can download “I’m Comin’ Over” on iTunes now.
