Flavor City with Bobby Parish whips up this easy recipe that tosses the garbanzo beans with cumin, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper and sautes them in a bit of extra virgin olive oil for about five minutes. The result? Crispy deliciousness that will give your body a boost.
- 1 can of no salt garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1/2 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- Few cracks of fresh pepper
- 2 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
Add everything but the olive oil to a bowl and mix well. Preheat a medium size, non-stick pan over medium-high heat with the olive oil. Add the beans to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the beans are slightly crunchy, stirring often.
