This Texas Train Ride Takes You on a Ghost Tour of the Bayou

It’s a typical Halloween tradition to visit haunted houses and scary places during the month of October. This year, why not try something a little more out of the ordinary, like the Runaway Fright Train in Texas.

The 40-minute train ride takes you through eerie areas in East Texas. Passing through the haunted Big Cypress Bayou, riders can see ghastly apparitions roaming the swamps while they learn about the history of the Jefferson Railway and the bayou. Riders will also learn of the many ghosts who are said to inhabit the area and how they got there.
