Florida’s Gulf Coast Jam Cancelled Over Storm Concerns

Gulf Coast Jam

The 2016 Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam has been cancelled just one day before the event.

The 3-day country music festival was set to kick off Friday, Sept. 2 in Panama City, Fla.

According to WJHG-TV, Panama City Mayor Mike Thomas says the event has been cancelled over concerns Tropical Storm Hermine will affect the event.

We have no further information about refunds at this time, but we’ll keep you updated as we learn more.

2016 has been a rough year for country music festivals. Several events were cancelled earlier in the year because of poor ticket sales. At least six major festivals were axed, prompting concerns that the country festival scene may have burst.
