Grand Ole Opry to Release New Compilation Showcasing Undiscovered Talent

The Grand Ole Opry is shining the spotlight on undiscovered talent.

The home of country music just announced the launch of a brand new compilation CD, Opry 9.0, Vol. II: Discoveries from the Circle, that will feature six tracks from some of the Opry’s best rising talent.

According to Music Row, the brand new compilation will feature live Opry performances from Chris Janson, Lindsay Ell and Mo Pitney, all of whom will be on hand to promote the CD with special appearances at the Opry. Both Ell and Pitney will also be appearing at the Opry shop for a special signing of the CD on March 25.

Steve Buchanan, Opry Entertainment President and co-executive producer had nothing but praise for the three up and coming country music stars in a statement, describing Janson, Ell and Pitney as having a “unique style that has stood out” to both Opry fans and artists.

“As the Opry continues to celebrate nine decades of great country music, we are also focused on the new artists who are shaping the genre’s future,” Buchanan added.
