What if you could attend the Super Bowl every year for the rest of your life? That might sound like a dream, but it will be a reality for one lucky Bud Light drinker.
Beginning this week through Jan. 13, Bud Light will spark a new kind of gold rush with fans eager to win one of the most coveted prizes in recent history. The Official Beer Sponsor of the NFL has randomly placed 37,000 gold Super Bowl 51 cans in 18-, 24-, and 30-packs of 12 oz. Bud Light.
Upon finding them, fans are eligible to enter for the big prize of a lifetime of Super Bowl tickets. The cans be found across the country (excluding California) in limited-edition “Strike Gold” Super Bowl-themed packaging.
Once the gold can is in hand, fans officially enter the sweepstakes through Facebook, Twitter or Instagram or on BudLight.com by posting a picture with the gold can and the hashtags #SBTix4Life and #Sweeps. California entrants can take a picture displaying fan spirit with the hashtags #SBTix4Life, #Sweeps and #CA.
While there is only one grand prize winner selected the week of Jan. 16, 2017, there will also be six weekly winners over the promotional period that will take home a pair of season tickets to their choice NFL team.
“All season long, Bud Light has celebrated the most passionate and dedicated fans that the NFL has to offer, and as the playoffs approach, we want to see fandom turned up another notch,” said Anna Rogers, director of NFL partnerships and strategy, Anheuser-Busch in a press release. “Most NFL fans likely won’t see one Super Bowl in their lifetime, so we figured what better way to reward one of the NFL’s biggest fans than by giving him or her tickets to the big game for the rest of their life?”
