George Strait Pops Up in Nashville

Lorie Liebig

It’s been a busy few weeks for George Strait.

After surprising fans with a new single, album and set of concerts dates in Las Vegas, it’s clear that the “King of Country” isn’t slowing down any time soon. Now, fans can celebrate their favorite country artist by grabbing some Strait swag at his Strait From Texas pop-up store in downtown Nashville, Tenn.

The Ernest Tubb Record Shop on Broadway has been revamped and filled with Strait merchandise of all shapes and sizes. Eager fans can pick up his new album, Cold Beer Conversations, as well as T-shirts, hats, mugs and more inside the store. The pop-up shop, which is decorated with images of Strait throughout his career, also features a special photo booth that allows you to take a photo alongside a cardboard version of the artist. Sources say the store will stay open through the weekend, but it’s unclear exactly when the cowboy will pack up and ride away from Nashville one more time.
