George Strait and Country’s Brightest Stars to Perform at ACM Awards

George Strait leads the bill of all-star performances at the 2015 ACM Awards.

It’s fitting that George Strait is the headlining performer at the 2015 ACM Awards. After all, he was named Entertainer of the Year at last year’s ACM’s, and this year’s show will take place in Strait’s home state of Texas.

The site of this year’s award show is the home of the Dallas Cowboys, the AT&T Center in Arlington, Texas. It’s the first time Strait has played the AT&T Center since his The Cowboy Rides Away last year.

Strait will be joined by other country heavy hitters Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Reba McEntire, Keith Urban and many more.

Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan are teaming up again to co-host the event and perform, so it should be an entertaining show.

Also, country newcomers and fan-voted ACM Artists of the Year nominees Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett and Cole Swindell will perform.

The show will be broadcast on CBS, April 19. Get ready for a Texas-sized party.
