Country music’s biggest stars are joining forces to help raise money for those affected by this season’s devastating hurricanes.
Country Rising: Nashville Gives For Hurricane Relief features a lineup stacked with huge names. George Strait, Garth Brooks, Chris Stapleton, Jason Aldean, Sam Hunt and Lady Antebellum have signed on to perform at the benefit show in Nashville. Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town and Martina McBride are also scheduled to take the stage on Nov. 12. Additional performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
It will all take place at Bridgestone Arena, and proceeds raised from the event will benefit The Country Rising Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. That organization was established to help support charitable initiatives to help victims of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Maria and Jose.
Tickets and VIP packages for the event will go on sale next Friday, Oct. 6 at 10 a.m. CT via Ticketmaster. This event is the latest in a series of smaller charity concerts held to raise money for hurricane victims. George Strait recently held a special benefit concert with Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton in San Antonio.
